About Me

When I was a little girl, I loved to play in the dirt. As I got older, I was consumed with my career and didn't take time out to be outside.  It was a coincidence in my volunteer role as a community activist  that a neighbor said you should start a community garden for the children.  That's what I did. Who knew it would lead me to finding a new purpose in life. The produce has reconnected me with nature, the soil and life itself. It makes me cry to see a beautiful bee or hear the birds chirp early in the morning or see children and adults marvel at how things grow.. What a blessing to be alive.
